Final internship letter

Dear diary,

I am writing this final letter with an overwhelming amount of emotions. I feel so lucky and grateful for this whole internship experience. From moving to Amsterdam to meeting some amazing people. It is safe to say that de Bijenkorf is an expert at welcoming and guiding interns. From the first introduction to my final evaluation, I was appreciated, valued, and mentored regularly. Vice versa, I was also given the opportunity to evaluate the company, which I believe is quite unique.

I also feel extremely proud. Proud of myself for entering this adventure with an open mindset and for growing on both a personal and professional level. This internship put a lot of things into perspective for me and definitely gave me a clearer goal for the future that I didn't have before.

I had the full experience during the past 5 months: a reorganization where more than 100 people lost their jobs, the switch from one content management system to another, a shoot day for the new campaign, visiting stores to film content for social media, and projects big and small with so many amazing colleagues (An example: https://www.debijenkorf.nl/inspiratie/redactie/online-masterclass-roos-reedijk.).

I would like to thank my mentor, my supervisor, and my parents for making this smooth and enjoyable internship experience possible.
